Jamie and James - Calgary Wedding Photographer

I worked hard all day to never mix up these two names. My brain was running at 110% a few times, but I think I managed to get through the day with out ever calling James, Jamie. Doesn't sound like a tough thing to do, but add 10 more names of people you don't know from family and the wedding party, then try and run a camera and give direction. Anyways, enough about me, this was a fun day and Jamie and James gave me a bunch of time for their portrait session which we made the most of.

Crystal and Carson had a perfect summer day for an outdoor wedding at The Cochrane Ranche House. Here are some of my favourites.

Jennifer and Clay - Calgary Wedding Photographer

Jen and Clay's wedding... fun, fun and more fun. A big thanks to Jen, Clay and their wedding party for making my day so enjoyable. Thanks also to Sharon and Julianne with Posh Productions for their hard work and big smiles.

First photo is of Lulu, the star of the show.

There were a lot of fun details at the reception, but this was well received by the guests.

The "wedding cake" was a golf course scene made out of cupcakes. One of the water holes.

On the fairway.

For the dancers.

Big Elbow / Little Elbow Loop

Every year I look forward to doing the Big Elbow / Little Elbow loop at the back end of highway 66. Its technically in the Kananaskis, but you get at it from the Bragg Creek side. We hit it on a perfect day, had no flats or mechanicals. I brought my point and shoot and grabbed a few from the saddle.

Me sucking wind (pretty typical) in the foreground.

Off the hip.

Near the pass and the top of the hill.

Taking a break.

perfect end to a perfect day

Alicia and Shane - Banff Springs Hotel

Even though I had never met Alicia or Shane I knew I would like them because they choose the same name for their baby boy as we did. They are also really nice and easy going, so that helped too. They had a perfect summer day for a Banff wedding. The ceremony and reception were at the Banff Springs Hotel.

Melisa and the crew from Table Talk did an amazing job of keeping everything running smoothly and looking dreamy.

Shane figured he would be able to keep it together when he saw Alicia coming down the aisle, but it ended up hitting him pretty hard.

Alicia and the camera like each other.

I tried to talk the guys into walking down this same road holding hands but they didn't go for it.

More Table Talk

The MC and best man Dale, who I called Wade most of the day intermittently. Sorry Dale.

Sister's toast.
