Anh and Jimmy

Anh and Jimmy had a traditional (Calgary style) Vietnamese wedding that started early and ended after many bottles of Hennessy had been emptied. It was a long day but worth it. Some of my favourites...

This was one of the first things I photographed around 8am. Good start.

The groom and his guys bartering for the bride.

Congratulations Lynn!

A huge congratulations to Lynn Fletcher for winning the 2010 ISES Esprit Award for Best Wedding. She entered Marie and Ryan's wedding from last July. Marie and Ryan are such a nice couple I would have been completely happy photographing them in a garbage dump, so it was extra special that their wedding happened to be "award winning" nice. Lynn worked extremely hard on this wedding so it was refreshing to see that sometimes good things do happen to nice people :)

Janet and Jeff - Chateau Lake Louise

I'm a bit behind on my blogging these days as we're fresh off a great summer holiday. It was so much fun to come back to this wedding after not having looked at it for a couple weeks. What a stunning day.

Lynn Fletcher Weddings designed and executed the whole day. It's always really exciting for me to see what she'll come up with next and she didn't disappoint!

Here are a few of my favourites.

One of the groomsmen (nephew to the bride) making the most out of his tux rental.

Mom

This was a crowd pleaser. Two groomsmen, father and son.

Jeff getting a hug from his new Father-in-law after the ceremony.

Pierre Marleau of Orange Frog Productions was responsible for producing the crazy lighting idea that Lynn Fletcher dreamed up. Well done.

There was an open mic and lots of time between courses for the bride and groom to visit. Their reaction to a song sung by one of the guests.

Famous Players Band added so much energy to the room it would have been tough to stay on your butt.
