Shelley and Doug

|
I think the winter Blog drought is finally over. I should be posting a little more regularly now that the new season is here.
This was my last "Winter" wedding (hopefully) of the year, but it actually felt a lot more like spring. Shelley and Doug planned an intimate evening ceremony and stand-up reception at the Art Gallery of Calgary, and it seemed like it was well received by the guests.

I think their dog Hanka is probably one of the best looking dogs I have every seen and definitely a priceless wedding accessory. |
I hate loosing to paper with a rock. |
Shelley and Doug are avid cyclists. Shelley is actually riding in the Trans Rockies race this year which is a 550 KM mountain bike race from Invermere to Fernie. 50km on a mountain bike is a long ride, so how they do all 550km in 7 days is painful to even think about.
Needless to say there were a lot of riders at the wedding so they put together some appropriate take home bags. Doug tells me he put pinholes in all the roadie tubes, so you might want to check those. |
Hands down the best smile at the wedding. |
